How your care is organised, from the first video call to the check-ups after you return home.
In short. You can start with a video consultation in English. Before any operation we meet in person in Turin. The cost of surgery is defined after the consultation, in a written quote that includes all post-operative visits for one year; travel and hotel are not included. After you return home, check-ups continue by video call, and your discharge letter gives you the number to call in an emergency.
Video consultation. If you live far away, we start with a video call (see below).
Written quote. If surgery is right for you, you receive a written quote with the first available date for the operation.
In-person examination in Turin. Before any operation I examine you in person, to confirm the indication and plan the surgery. We arrange the date together, taking your journey into account.
Surgery in Turin. At Aesthetic Clinic or in a private hospital in Turin (see below).
Check-ups in Turin. You stay in or near Turin for the first check-ups; before you travel home I check that you are ready.
Follow-up from home. After you return, check-ups continue by video call.
The video consultation and its limits
Rather than asking you to send photos, I prefer to see you on camera: during the video call I ask you to take specific positions under the right light, so that I can see clearly what you would like to correct and how your tissues behave. It is a real first assessment, and it often lets us understand whether surgery makes sense for you before you travel.
A video call cannot replace a physical examination: it does not let me feel the skin and tissues, measure precisely or check everything that matters for safety. This is why the final decision on surgery is always made after the in-person examination in Turin. It can happen that, after seeing you in person, I suggest a different plan, or advise against surgery.

First surgical consultation
€150, the same for an in-person or a video consultation, paid by bank transfer when you book. If you then book your operation, the consultation is free of charge.
The operation
No prices before the consultation: every case is different, so the cost is defined in a personalised written quote, which also shows the first available date for surgery.
Post-operative visits
All post-operative visits for one year are included in the quote, both in Turin and by video call.
Not included
Travel and hotel.
Where you are operated and when you stay overnight
All operations take place in Turin. Procedures that do not need an overnight stay are performed at Aesthetic Clinic, Lungo Dora Pietro Colletta 67, which I direct, in an operating theatre authorised by the Piedmont Region for complex outpatient surgery. When I prefer you to spend the night in a hospital setting (for example after a breast lift or a tummy tuck), you are admitted to a private hospital in Turin. Each procedure page explains which applies.
You do not need to travel with a companion. After an operation under sedation you must not drive that day: someone can drive you, or you can take a taxi. After general anaesthesia and a night in the clinic, you can usually leave on your own.
How long to stay in Turin
The time depends on the operation and on how you heal. As a guide:
Until the first check-ups. For the first 15 days sitting needs some precautions, so we plan your journey home at the consultation.
Before you travel home, I check at a follow-up visit that you are ready to travel.
After you return home
Once you are home, check-ups continue by video call, at the times I tell you. All post-operative visits for one year are included in the quote. If you come back to Italy, we can also see each other in person.
If you have a problem after surgery
Your discharge letter gives you the number to call in an emergency. If you have symptoms such as high fever, severe or increasing pain, sudden swelling, bleeding or difficulty breathing, call that number at once and, if the situation is urgent, contact the local emergency services where you are.
